The MAST symposium seeks to address an open variety of topics among
Art, Science and Technology, discussing them through different prisms
of the festival topic -- “Checked Reality. The Work at the Interface
Continues”. The MASTmodule.eu project has within this crossfield posed
two challenge topics: “The Future of Work”(2018/19) and “Solidarity”
(2019/20). Different perspectives, practices, values and philosophies
should be confronted as well as new knowledge and initiatives generated
in discussions and networking in and around the symposium.

Špela Petrič will once again, after her recent
Ars Electronica
distinction, decode the paralanguage of plants in the bio-art process
of Nociceptor, intelligible also if not only to the deaf and
present the work Institute for Inconspicuous Languages: Reading
Lips.
Serbian artist Dejan Grba and Swiss artist Philippe Kocher will present their exploration of the imprecision native to GPS and make the work Study 7/0: Error-Generated Animation a generator of conceptual source material for creative processing and expression.
Sašo Sedlaček's special iteration of Om for Coin will mislead the lazy audience to participate in cryptocurrency farming.
The Lebanese artist and researcher Laure Keyrouz will check out Human Network CHAL Digital Archive Project, where literature intersects with art practices through human connection transformed into a digital space.
As if in a random shop-window of Nova Gorica, the Austrian artist Helene Thuemmel will video-gesture the landscape as an interface of perception and memory: Landscape in Gestures.
Literary itineraries between Gorizia, the Trieste region, and Friuli as gao-located augmented reality by Narvika Bovcon in Aleš Vaupotič, pointing the attention toward significant aspects of the surroundings, often present implicitly, and differently for each cohabiting community.
The installation at the AGORÈ GALLERY (Via Rastello 49, Gorizia (I)) will be open for visitors between 15.00 and 19.00 from 15 to 23 November, 2019.

will, through the logic of
artificial intelligence chased ad absurdum, question the boundaries of
the militant.
The Berlin based performance space Grüntaler9 will, in form of its mobile extension of BYS229 driven by the curator Teena Lange along the European motorways, import intrinsic incidents by empowering performance artists and artistic researchers -- a performance too long or too short might pop up almost anywhere along Pixxelpoint 2019, at any time!
The Kromberk industrial zone will be from 16th till 18th November connected with the cultural center of Nova Gorica through the augmented reality visions of BulvAR by Arctur.
